Founded in 2007 in Ticino, Switzerland, SUNAGE began as a manufacturer of conventional photovoltaic modules. Over the years, the company has continuously evolved, first introducing colored photovoltaic panels and later specializing in advanced glass-glass solutions for Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV).
Today, SUNAGE is recognized for its ability to combine renewable energy generation with architectural design. Its customized BIPV modules can be seamlessly integrated into roofs, ventilated façades, balconies, canopies, and other building elements, transforming surfaces into active energy producers without compromising aesthetics.

A key strength of SUNAGE is customization. These include eco-design methodologies to reduce CO₂ emissions, AI-assisted production strategies, digital twins, energy monitoring systems, fault detection tools, and Digital Product Passport.
