CIRCMAN5.0 5th Plenary Meeting at Politecnico di Milano

Milan, Italy – 13-14 October 2026 – The CIRCMAN5.0 consortium gathered at Politecnico di Milano on 13–14 October for its fifth plenary meeting. Over two days, partners reviewed progress, aligned plans and worked together to advance the project’s Innovation Solutions for circular, AI-driven photovoltaic (PV) manufacturing.
Partners presented updates across all work packages, covering:
• digital twins for PV production
• eco-design approaches
• circularity assessment tools
• AI-driven methods
• data governance across the PV value chain

The highlight of the meeting was an Exploration Workshop led by the Institute for Energy Technology (IFE). Working in mixed groups, partners refined the Innovation Solutions, strengthened integration between work packages and agreed steps to speed up progress towards circular, AI-enabled PV manufacturing.

The meeting focused on achieving the project’s target KPIs during its final year, reviewing progress against key objectives, and coordinating preparations for the upcoming project review.

The first day concluded with a social dinner organised by TTS, offering partners an opportunity to strengthen collaboration and exchange ideas in an informal setting.
