Personally, I am proud to witness the dedication and collaborative spirit demonstrated by all partners in driving innovation and sustainability through the CIRCMAN5.0 project since its launch.
CIRCMAN5.0 focuses on integrating circular economy principles with Industry 5.0 technologies to transform the Photovoltaic (PV) Manufacturing Industry. Over the past months, we have concentrated on engaging key stakeholders, including PV manufacturers and researchers, while analyzing the lifecycle of End-of-Life (EoL) PV panels to develop impactful circular solutions.
Pilot demonstrations will play a pivotal role in validating CIRCMAN5.0’s methodologies. Through real-world applications, we aim to optimize material recovery, reduce waste, and promote sustainable practices across the European PV supply chain. These activities are designed to address pressing challenges in resource efficiency and environmental impact, ensuring that the outcomes of CIRCMAN5.0 benefit both industry and society.
We are confident that this project will pave the way for a new era in circular manufacturing, setting an example for other industries to follow. As Deputy Project Coordinator, I am excited about the progress we’ve made and look forward to seeing CIRCMAN5.0’s solutions positively impact the PV sector and beyond.
