Technology Transfer System (TTS) is an Italian private company specialising in digital technologies for advanced and sustainable manufacturing. By developing and integrating solutions such as Digital Twins, artificial intelligence, and interoperable industrial data platforms, TTS helps industrial companies improve the efficiency, transparency, and sustainability of their production systems.
The company has extensive experience in European research projects and collaborates closely with industrial partners, technology providers, and research organisations to bring cutting-edge digital solutions into real industrial environments. Its activities focus on bridging the gap between research and industrial application by developing innovative services and tools that facilitate the adoption of advanced digital technologies and strengthen data-driven decision-making in manufacturing.
A key area of expertise of TTS lies in the development and deployment of Digital Twin technologies for manufacturing systems. By combining modelling, simulation, real-time monitoring, and data-driven analytics, these digital environments allow manufacturers to better understand, predict, and optimise their production processes. They also enable exploring alternative operational scenarios to reduce energy consumption, increase resource efficiency, and promote more sustainable and resource-efficient manufacturing practices.
Within the CIRCMAN5.0 project, TTS contributes to the development of digital infrastructures designed to enable more circular and energy-efficient manufacturing processes in the photovoltaic (PV) industry. In particular, the company is involved in the design and implementation of standardised interfaces for manufacturing assets based on the Asset Administration Shell (AAS) framework. Through this approach, machines, energy meters, and other industrial assets can be represented as interoperable digital counterparts capable of providing structured and semantically enriched data.
Building on this foundation, TTS is also involved in the development of the Cognitive Digital Twin of PV manufacturing systems. This environment integrates production data, energy measurements, and simulation models to monitor, analyse, and optimise manufacturing performance, while improving energy efficiency across the manufacturing process.
Within the CIRCMAN5.0 project, TTS plays a key role in accelerating the adoption of digital technologies and data-driven solutions that foster more sustainable, efficient, and circular manufacturing systems in line with the objectives of Industry 5.0.
